Basically, I'm a real person just like you, facing life's challenges each day as they come. I am an artist, cat lover and an avid observer of life's irony and quirks, especially as I cope with my Parkinson's Disease. I have two grown sons, five beautiful grandchildren and a sister and loving parents who I know don't quite understand but
Basically, I'm a real person just like you, facing life's challenges each day as they come. I am an artist, cat lover and an avid observer of life's irony and quirks, especially as I cope with my Parkinson's Disease. I have two grown sons, five beautiful grandchildren and a sister and loving parents who I know don't quite understand but have always supported my choices. A native Texan, I live and work on my writing and art here in Waxahachie.
I have multiple ideas rolling around in my head that beg to be put down on paper. I would like to thank all those who over the years who enjoyed listening to my stories (or who at least were good at
pretending to enjoy them).I am currently working on a trilogy of young adult reader novels and hope to soon be published.

Waxahachie Ex-Students Association approached me in 2019 to paint a 5 foot dimensional heart which reflected images reflecting their group. The heart painted was part of the Hatchie Hearts Trail and installed near the Global High School and a public walk path.
