Bakelite: A Lifetime of Collecting and Why

This is part of my Bakelite collection. When I was 23 years old and landed my first real job as a graphic designer for an advertising studio, I quickly realized our clients didn't take me serious because I looked 12. Knowing I couldn't look older and still be me, I decided to go for quirky. (Which worked, by the way.)

I began buying vintage clothing and jewelry. I just never stopped.

I am most proud of my Bakeltie and have an affinity for bangles.
