I'm a real person with both talents and struggles just trying to find my way through life like everyone else. And on good days when my Parkinsons isn't in the way of my typing, Max will be here with me at my keyboard lending his support. Currently I am working on a series of novels for tween and young adult readers. I am serious in my efforts and workiinb to find an agent who can believe in my stories and hopefully knows a good publisher. So I'm going to put myself out there and have posted two short stories. Max and I hope you like them; if you do then please share my site with friends and family.
Kitten is the story of a young girl finding the courage to accept her new place in a world being overthrown by unseen aliens. (This story was inspired by a dream I had of flying around shooting aliens with my space boots!)
Wish Keys is the story of a sister and brother living in an orphans home waiting for parents to come and find them. Their fates are changed when they discover a different world behind a door that is usually locked. (This story is based on a dream where I could hear unusual music coming from behind a door and was brave enough to reach for the door knob and turn it.)

I am not the sort of artist who finds a niche in just one subject or media. I like to try new things always pushing myself. See more of my artwork here.
My thoughts on life in general is that life in general is one big mess. And I want to make the most of my mess! I was diagnosed with Early Symptom Parkinsons when I was 45 years old. I tried to be realistic, and thought a reasonable expectation of time I had might be 5 to 7 years but no one can project this really. It's been 16 years now and I'm pushing my luck if I wait any longer to finish the important stuff!
I have had many cats with amazing personalities over the years including the three I have now. I am a true cat person and cannot live without a cat companion in my house. (Or perhaps I was a witch or a cat in a former life, sometimes I do wonder.) My cats are also the subject for many of my drawings. Click to see and read more about my cats.
There are certainly many psychological reasons why people may be compelled to collect. As I have recently downsized I had to seriously examine my various collections and decide why I have them. So here are my thoughts on my collection of collections.
This website is my platform to share my writings, artwork and my thoughts on life. You may agree or disagree with my observations as my intent is to share and inspire, and encourage everyone to believe in their dreams.
